1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to identify the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one move. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though it will differ based on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris but they can't reach all dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested to not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also collects more dust in a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
